{"id":72,"date":"2024-10-01T10:58:00","date_gmt":"2024-10-01T10:58:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mechanik.team\/?p=72"},"modified":"2025-07-06T14:07:40","modified_gmt":"2025-07-06T14:07:40","slug":"budowa-robota-fredzio-na-x-challenge-2024","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mechanik.team\/en\/budowa-robota-fredzio-na-x-challenge-2024\/","title":{"rendered":"Construction of the Fredzio robot for X-Challenge 2024"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>We're building a robot \u2013 without a workshop, but with big ambitions!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">Imagine a team of students with heads full of ideas, enthusiasm greater than their experience, and tools spread out\u2026 everywhere. <strong>This is exactly what building our first robot for the X-Challenge 2024 competition looked like.<\/strong> We didn't have our own workshop, we didn't have professional facilities, and our desks often changed locations\u2014one time it was a vacant classroom, another time it was tables in the hall outside the school auditorium.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And yet \u2013 we started the project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">Struggling with a lack of time, a modest budget, and even less experience, we set about building a robot to compete in the Task Hunters competition. There was a lot of chaos, soldering on my knee, and makeshift tests on floor tiles. But there was also something that can't be measured by any measure: passion, determination, and boundless creativity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" src=\"https:\/\/mechanik.team\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/fredzio-w-budowie.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-134\" srcset=\"https:\/\/mechanik.team\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/fredzio-w-budowie.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/mechanik.team\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/fredzio-w-budowie-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/mechanik.team\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/fredzio-w-budowie-768x576.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\"><strong>We started with ideas\u2014bold, sometimes crazy, but always ambitious.<\/strong> We slowly put our project together, combining knowledge gained in class, after hours, and\u2026 through trial and error. The result? <strong>A working prototype and a complete presentation ready for the competition.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">Did everything work right away? Of course not. But every glitch was a lesson, and every success a spark that fueled us. We worked wherever space was available: in the computer lab, in the hallway, on the floor by the window. It wasn't a perfect laboratory, but it was the space where our first collaborative project\u2014a robot with a soul\u2014was born.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph translation-block\">Today, we look back with pride. Because although we lacked the necessary resources, we had what was most important: a team that believed it was possible.
