On Saturday, June 7, 2025, the campus of the Rzesz\u00f3w University of Technology was once again bustling with life and scientific energy \u2013 all thanks to the 14th edition of the \"Rzesz\u00f3w Science and Technology Picnic \u2013 POWER of Explorers,\" the only popular science event in Poland that so comprehensively combines the worlds of science, technology, culture, and art. As every year, the event, organized on an impressive scale, attracted thousands of explorers, both young and old \u2013 enthusiasts, students, and entire families.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The area around the Rzesz\u00f3w University of Technology Rector's Office was transformed into a true science town, divided into four thematic zones: the Technology Passage, the Science Passage, the Culture and Art Passage, and the History Square. Each zone offered dozens of interactive attractions, shows, experiences, and presentations prepared by schools, universities, institutions, and science clubs from across the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Among the most interesting stands, the exhibition of the ZSM in Rzesz\u00f3w, located in the heart of the Technology Passage, generated enormous interest. It was there that the \"Mechanik TEAM\" School Robotics Club, comprised of students from the Mechanical School Complex in Rzesz\u00f3w, presented their achievements. They have been passionately exploring the secrets of engineering and robotics since the beginning of the school year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The star of the stand was undoubtedly Fredzio<\/strong> \u2013 a remote-controlled mobile robot that not only attracted attention with its unusual appearance but also captivated with its technical capabilities. Visitors could see for themselves how the robot navigated asphalt, effortlessly climbed high curbs, drove on grass, and even climbed a steep hill. Fredzio wasn't just a cute gadget \u2013 it was the result of many hours of design, 3D printing, programming, and testing, and became a symbol of the \"Mechanik TEAM\" team's early successes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the Picnic, the Club members eagerly shared how their first robot was created, the challenges they faced, and how much they learned from participating in competitions such as the X-Challenge 2024 and the Naukolatek competition. Their commitment and knowledge made a huge impression on both the younger participants and the adult visitors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thanks to events such as MOC Odkrywc\u00f3w, students can not only share their passions, but also inspire others \u2013 showing that science can be fascinating, and that creating robots is not only fun, but also a path to future skills and professions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"Mechanik TEAM\" already announces that it has no intention of slowing down \u2013 more projects are underway, and they certainly have no shortage of ambition and ideas. With such enthusiasm and support \u2013 from both teachers and partners like PCI \u2013 we can be sure that we'll be hearing about their work again!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
