In the heart of the ZSM in Rzeszów, a unique place has been created for young designers, explorers, and enthusiasts of new technologies – the "Mechanik TEAM" Robotics School Club. Although our activities formally began at the beginning of the 2024/2025 school year, it all actually began much earlier – with a spark ignited by the RoboLab classes, implemented as part of the Rzeszów educational program promoting robotics and modern engineering among young people.
It was there, with the first electronic circuits, cables, and Arduino boards, that ZSM students began to explore the secrets of microcontrollers, programming, sensors, motors, and drive systems. Each subsequent project, each "eureka" moment after successful assembly or code debugging, built not only knowledge and experience, but above all—a true passion.
From this group, those who truly fell in love with robotics stood out. They were the ones—full of enthusiasm, ideas, and dreams—who decided to take it a step further and build something of their own. Not a toy, not an experiment from a manual, but a real robot—and one that could handle the challenges of professional competitions.
Their enthusiasm didn't go unnoticed. Dr Stanisław Topolewicz, a computer science teacher who, outside of school, has been exploring the secrets of robotics, microcontrollers, 3D printing, and platforms like Arduino and Raspberry Pi, became their mentor and guide through the intricacies of robotics. It was thanks to his experience, commitment, and unwavering faith in young people that the "Mechanik TEAM" was established.
Today, our club is more than just a group of students – it's a community of creative minds, a place where dreams of your own robot turn into real-life designs, tested, refined, and… ready to conquer competitions!
