School Robotics Club at ZSM in Rzeszów

On June 10, 2025, the 9th edition of the National Competition for Young Engineers took place at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science of the Rzeszów University of Technology – a prestigious event that has been bringing together the most talented young designers and enthusiasts of modern technologies from all over Poland for years. The competition was organized by the Podkarpackie Branch of the Polish Information Processing Society (PTI) in cooperation with the Association of Polish Electrical Engineers (SEP).

It was there that students from our Robotics Club presented their original project – "RAGNAR," a remote-controlled mobile robot designed and built entirely by themselves. The design stood out not only for its robust construction but also for its innovative technical solutions, such as independent four-wheel drive, real-time control, and a set of sensors enabling adaptation to environmental conditions.

The robot and its creators made a huge impression on the jury, which unanimously awarded them first place, recognizing the project as the best of all entries in this year's edition. This is a huge success and proof that passion, systematic work, and teamwork can lead to spectacular results.

Winning this national competition not only gave our students great satisfaction, but also opened the door to further challenges and inspiring projects in the world of engineering and robotics.
